Environmental Certification
Service Description

De Viris supports their clients in the selection of the most appropriate Ecological Label for a given project, in close contact with the architect and project teams for the definition of the terms of reference.

The choice of the most appropriate label for the project is therefore, a complex task, not only regarding the specificity of each label but also the objectives and marketing visibility of each label in particular.

There are more than 17 Rankings internationally accepted, and, five below may be considered the most representative:

 - LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, origin: USA;
 - BREEAM, Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method, origin: United Kingdom;
 - GREEN GLOBE, origin: Australia;
 - STEP, Sustainable Tourism Eco-certification program, origin: USA;
 - ECO-LABEL, origin: Europe;

The choice of the most appropriate Environmental label  should consider:

 - The project type and kind of activity;
 - The positioning in the market;
 - The target market;
 - The scope of certification.

The Ecological Label is a factor of differentiation and represents a significant added value, being a crucial tool to broaden the visibility and overall perceived value, with benefits to be felt, not only by the promoter, but also by the facility’s operator.
