Busse-Innovative Systeme GmbH is a German company that manufactures small-scale systems for domestic wastewater treatment, recycling and reuse. The standard Busse-MF’s systems are, in practice, small membrane bio-reactors (MBR) for effluent treatment from 4 to 300 people-equivalent and are characterized by their simple and effective design and operation, producing high quality treated effluent, due to the existence of the physical barrier formed by the microfiltration membranes, making treated water compatible with re-use in sprinkler irrigation and reloading of wc cisterns, for example. Designed to treat the effluent from single dwellings and small condominiums, the Busse-MF systems can in practice be applied to any place where recycling and reuse of wastewater is considered, for example hotels, construction sites, schools, etc.
